Lovely accommodation and hosts! Tony was a delight and a wealth of local information that helped us a lot and made our stay even better. Warm, welcoming, clean - we will be back. Highly recommended. Rooms: Clean, warm, quiet and lovely interior. Very comfy bed and great shower!

We just spent six lovely days at the charming and relaxing Edlin House in Bright. Tony and Linda are exceptional hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble! Each day we were spoilt with a surprise tasty treat made by Linda. It was like staying with family! The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and the setting is quiet and peaceful. We absolutely loved the bbq area, which we used each night. A must stay! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We booked direct with Tony and Linda who were exceptionally helpful and provided great local information and tips. The beauty of autumn leaves in Bright were
matched by the standard of the rooms and grounds at Edlin House. Set out perfectly for a couple with all the trimmings of a 5 star resort. Can highly recommend this place for a stay in Bright. Will definitely be back.

Anthony and Linda made this trip very easy and comfortable! Very welcoming on arrival with great info and recommendations. Room was exactly what was pictured, very clean and cosy. Even loved the home made rocky road that was waiting for us after a long day of skiing. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Perfect - it’s the little things that count! The space is very well thought out with nice design features and beautiful big shower. Water pressure and temp was amazing. The owners are so lovely and even brought home made chocolate goodies to the room one afternoon. Both were very helpful and extremely welcoming. Cleaning was a very high standard, with the aircon on pre check in for comfortable arrival. It feels like a true escape in these rooms with robes, slippers, quality soaps and teas. Well worth the visit. Parking was easy.

From the booking stage right up until we left Tony and Linda were amazing! They took the time (no matter how long it took) to answer any questions you had, offer inside tips/suggestions and make you feel completely at home. Upon arrival they welcomed you with a smile and generously offered a special welcome pack on arrival (treats, maps and hiking guides) all based on our discussions on what we wanted to do during the booking stage. They remembered the finer details (for example: me wanting to take photographs) and offered suggestions to help you have the best experience to match this interest which showed how exceptional their service is for their valued guests. The service didn't stop there, little things like having the heater on in the room for our arrival showed how they wanted to make sure our stay was comfortable and hassle free, a sweet treat waiting for us on our last night was a lovely touch and the rooms were beautiful and clean. It was a warm country feel with a special touches that made you feel valued and I would highly recommend staying here for anyone heading up to Bright.
I would be staying here again on my next visit and looking forward to their warm hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Edlin House in beautiful Bright!. Tony and Linda were very generous hosts, lending us bikes to explore as well as leaving us a delicious afternoon treat. Couldn't recommend their place more. We will hopefully return, so much more to discover in Bright.

I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel. The rooms are immaculate and spacious, the location is perfect and Anthony and his wife have gone to great lengths to add personal touches. The chocolates were a particular highlight!

Fantastic B&B in beautiful Bright. Tony and Linda were the perfect hosts with just the right balance of providing insight on where to eat, activities to do in the area and even a daily afternoon edible treat made by Linda, and leaving us to relax in the surroundings. The accommodation is nearly new, having been recently renovated, spacious, clean, hot water and fast pressure in the shower. Bed extremely comfy which was a big tick for us. Location wise in a beautiful setting about 1.5km outside of Bright. We strolled one afternoon along the river into bright and back and it was a very pleasant 20-25 mins walk. Lots of cycling around these parts. WiFi was a little on the slower side at times, but that was the only thing that we could pick on. Great stay!

Such a lovely place to stay in Bright. Easy (and safe) walking distance to the town, quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Tony and Linda were so welcoming and kind - they even brought us homemade pie in the evening. The whole experience was wonderful and we will be back again in the autumn to enjoy it all again!
Also, a quick note to anyone looking to stay here - if you can, book direct with them rather than through a booking site :-)

Absolutely loved this place. Great location with a lovely walk into town which meant we didn't need the car at all. The unit itself was beautifully renovated with everything you could possibly need. Linda and Tony also had some great tips for the area which made our stay even better. We'll be back!

I had a fantastic stay at Edlin House. So many little touches really made it special. The quality of the bedding was exceptional. The amenities in the room were modern including a Nespresso coffee maker. Bathroom and room were spotless and shower pressure was amazing. Not only that, the rooms are set in a lovely location just out of town, and also setup to encourage guests to mingle in the quaint common areas by the fire or BBQ, but with plenty if privacy if desired. I had fantastic chats with the hosts Anthony and Linda around the fireside. Can't wait to return!

A fabulous stay in a beautiful spot. I can't wait to visit again for more first class hospitality! Amazing hospitality from Anthony and Linda! The bed was so comfortable, the shower was excellent and the room was filled with unexpected little luxuries. I can't wait to stay here again. The cake and damper were also insanely good and a lovely treat after long hikes.

Amazing stay... I recently had the pleasure of staying with Linda and Tony whilst on a work trip to Bright. They were wonderful hosts over a two week stay... it felt more like staying with friends than anything to do with work. It was great to be able to sit down and enjoy a meal and a drink with Tony and Linda at the end of the day, they couldn't have been more welcoming. The room was immaculate, catering for anything I needed and some. It's close to town which is full of great places to eat and visit. Do yourself a favour and stay at Edlin House when you next visit Bright.

Wonderful stay with a warm welcome and great facilities. Tony and Linda were super welcoming, with a delicious slice of cake and great restaurant tips. The room was spotlessly clean and looked like it had been recently renovated (new carpet, bathroom etc.) I had everything I needed, plus little extras like snacks and juice. There were other facilities available to use too including a BBQ, common area, laundry etc. Lovely and quiet, only 1.9km from main shops in town.

A gorgeous, welcoming luxury couples retreat at the foothills of Victoria's Alps. For the active traveller (bike, hike or ski?) or one just wanting to relax in a cozy but modern home from home. Walking distance to a natural creek and the lively and cute town centre. All amenities available and the friendly owners will cater with a five star đŸŒŸđŸŒŸđŸŒŸđŸŒŸđŸŒŸ service! Wow, two very nice and thoughtful hosts. From being picked up at the bus stop, having a glass of wine or beer around the firepit, through to the end of my stay I definitely felt welcome. Beds are super comfortable, shower has great pressure which is very welcome after riding mountain bikes all day. I'm looking forward to my next stay.

Must say a special thanks to Anthony and Linda for their patience and advice in getting around after my initial flight got cancelled and I had to stay in Melbourne overnight before heading to Bright the next day. And also for lending me a bicycle to explore! Very simple, easy rooms that felt very light and comfortable especially with a big weekend at the Spartan events. Thank you guys! My hubby & I had a lovely stay recently at Edlin House on the weekend of Bright Hot Rod Show. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Gardens gorgeous and the outdoor fire pit was lit for us when we returned home to enjoy a night cap before bed. Tony & Linda were great hosts. The setting was very relaxing– highly recommend.
